Which brings us to the launch of the second game for season 2 of the VFVL:

That's right, we're going back to a simpler time, before Mario, Bowser, and Princess Peach ruled Nintendo - back to when the world was introduced to a carpenter named Jumpman, a damsel called Pauline, and a barrel-loving ape almost as big as King Kong.
Back in 1981 it was just a fun game, but it now DK has an outsized role in gamer culture thanks to Billy Mitchell, Steve Wiebe, and the film "King of Kong: A Fistful of Quarters." The annual Kong-Offs (last year held at ReplayFX) have also turned DK into a premier game for high score achievement.
Now it's our turn.
