Appreciated, thanks! I'll have that shipped out by the end of the day.

It's my personal preference to use a black satin-finish paint, applied with a foam core roller. I haven't primed any of the cabinets I've built so far, and the MDF I've been using doesn't seem to soak up the paint as badly as one would think. I've always done 3-5 coats of paint, with a light sanding in between. If you were using a primer, I'd recommend a brand like Kilz or similar, and do the same thing - a couple of coats, with sanding in between.
