Hi guys,
I have an asteroids that regardless of contrast and brightness has a faint dot in the middle after research.

I have learned I need to "clear shorts in the tube with a re-juvenate unit"

does anyone offer such a service?

thanks

is the dot the only thing it has in the center of the tube?

HI,
when I first got it, it was retrace lines everywhere and the contrast and brightness did not work, after reflowing the the board, I now have brightness and contrast working.
After connecting the board back to the monitor the game plays perfect, with no dot and brightness and contrast are nicely set, after power off and then re power the faint dot appears that either totally dissapears if I turned down the contrast and brightness but to a level that makes the asteroids invisible but the ship is still visible since it is always very bright.

I do not want to run the game until it I reslove the monitor and mitigate any posssible further damage to the unobtainium vector monitor!

Thanks
