Postby Pete » Fri Oct 24, 2014 1:56 pm

I know the 60-in-1's support a track ball, can i use a spinner instead? can i do both? spinner player 1, trackball player 2? it's a cocktail, was mame'd but the pc died. looking for quick fix.

Yes - they support a spinner on those connections (I've done that with an Arkanoid spinner).
A spinner is just a trackball with one axis (and the settings let you switch that axis too if it is in the wrong direction).

If you are using an Arkanoid spinner, make sure you also change the default setting for "Trackball Orientation" and "Trackball Signals" on the main setup screen on the 60-in-1 from "Normal" to "Exchange X/Y" and "Exchange DIR/CLK" respectively.

You should also go into the virtual DIP settings for Arkanoid and change the speed to "slow" (DIP5=on, DIP6=off) to make it run smoothly.

Found this out today when upgrading bighab's bartop.
Cheers!
