GT cab conversion

Postby dasbrow » Thu Dec 18, 2014 11:31 am

Wondering if anyone out there has done a GT to mame or XX-in-1 conversion and has lighten the weight of this beast? Or does anyone have any recommendations on what can be removed.

Thanks

Put a LCD in. That will save you some weight.

And if you replace the CRT with an LCD, you can ditch the heavy isolation transformer too....

LCD is going in for sure, and don't joke about cutting it in half, I was looking at the sides today and thought about running my circular saw up one side and down the other.
