robotron on the 2019 in 1
I was working on one of these for the first time for a local fellow and tried to play a game of Robotron before I left. Not an easy or fun game when played with one joystick and some buttons. Can this be fixed in the settings?
Just wondering. I have a 19 in 1 and that is good enough for me for now -I was never that good anyway!

Nope no setting , you would have to add an extra joystick and split buttons 1-4 with joystick
A Few other games have small draw backs on the 2019 but thats the sacrifice necessary when cramming 2000 plus games in one machine
Mame is great as you can build the cabinet to your gaming needs ( 1 joystick oh what the heak lets put 10 no 100 )

if its the games family system you can change all the settings as needed. you would need to set the cabinet style (if it needs to be changed) then reset the controls the same way you would in mame. you would first need to determine which buttons control which direction then change them accordingly with the second player joystick.

There is 2 different settings menu under each game. 1 for the on board switches and 1 for the controls (both are mame settings)
I along with the rest of the guys at xxxx-in-1.com (r.i.p) played a small part in developing and beta testing what ended up becoming the updated version of these boards that all the us suppliers sold. (killer edition, ect..) And built and edited quite a few versions of this board. I like and prefer it for personal use. But refuse to sell them anymore due to their flaws.

The boards are virtually all the same but you definitely should look in to upgrading the ram and processor. And you need to add a proper shutdown option

Ram and processor sounds like a great idea but board is so pricey puting more hardware in to it probably make it harder to sell
Shut down option would be sweet sounds like a programing issue ? Or is it simply finding the connection area on mother board to shut down like pressing off button on PC
I found the CMOS battery gave issues if installed like non supported mode ect
I guess the best thing the board has going for it is the 4 player option if used

They won't have any of the software upgrades from the suppliers. The software upgrades are secondary mods.
