Oh, man. That brings back memories. That was our family's first TV when I was a kid. The only difference was that ours was yellow. It worked great until somebody dropped it around 2002.

I'll second Games Music Inc in Red Deer. NexWave is the only game store in Edmonton that I'd recommend. I've been through Lloydminster a few times and have yet to find a proper game shop.

As notoriously bad as the DS cover inserts are for games published by Square-Enix, I'm pretty sure they had nothing to do with this one as it was published here by Nintendo.

Re: Happy 10th Anniversary, Playstation 2

Another thing I remember from that night... us laughing over the fact the power switch was on the back of the system. We were all thinking "what an odd design, but I guess it did have its advatages somehow... Yeah, nobody read the manual for that thing. You'd be amazed how few people knew how ...

I got 11 but that was with my speakers turned off. Copying the name of a game system and then rapidly pasting and hitting enter works pretty well.

I tried it on the fat PS2 (model SCPH-39001, I think).

Would anybody happen to know whether the official PS1 mouse works with X-Com on a PS2? I've tried playing it with a 3rd party PS1 mouse on a PS2 and it just won't work. The mouse works fine on any old PlayStation.
