Tablet Repair

Anybody know of a decent place in the GTA (perhaps Scarborough or Durham ideal) for tablet repair ? I have an ASUS Transformer Book T100, my daughter used it for 1 afternoon and smashed the screen. Actually specifically I believe the screen is OK, but its the thing on top of the screen that register...

Re: PLaystation Classic

I had reserved another 2 units @ Best Buy for the $30 price. I was told that the Source had them for $20 ! But SOLD OUT everywhere. Best Buy would not match the price. I assume the next price drop will be down to $20. Man, how fast these fell in price. I'm actually in shock. I wonder will this be th...

Re: Keychains

They look good @ChanceKJ.

My keychains just arrived. So this week I'll get the photos printed up and get these suckers done.
I'll post pics when done.

Re: Transformers G1 @ walmart

I was @ my local Walmart today and snagged the very last Hot Rod for $7.50! Score !!! Optimus is still full price. They had none of the little guys, no Starscream (I can not find this guy!) and no Devastator ! I'd love to find Starscream on the cheap. I thought I would try my luck so I also went to ...

Re: PLaystation Classic

I think for $50 it's worth it. I've been messing around with some of the BleemSync images I have. I had three 32 GB images, however was was password protected an no good. The other two I did not like (personally), the game selection was crappy. I'm sure perhaps they were sleeper hits, or imports, bu...

Re: PLaystation Classic

$50 I think is worth it for nostalgia, and just to add more junk to the collection.
I finally unboxed it yesterday and copied one of my 32GB PSClassic builds over to a flash drive.
However I'm yet to try it.........had to watch Sopranos!

Re: Foosball Refurbish

Thanks @ bristol888. I've also decided to use the playfield my buddy printed out for me. I think once it is installed under the glass it will look good. Hoping that I can perhaps get it installed this weekend. I'm not going to removing all the rods, so I'm hoping I get (A) get the glass cleaned well...

Re: PLaystation Classic

Patience is a virtue. I picked up 2 PS Classics when the dropped to $88...........should have waited ! LOL That aside when I got the PS Classic I also picked up a few 64GB flash drives for $15, and a USB hub for $10. The Flash Drive images are readily available online, and from what I understand no ...

Re: Keychains

300 DPI, yes. I'm just sending the prints to Costco or Walmart. An image this small I'm sure would look good either way. I'm not overly fussy about it, but I've printed out tons of stuff prior @ 72/100 DPI on a small scale and it looked OK. I'll just have them printed on stock photo paper and double...

Re: Keychains

I'm just putting the images onto a 5"x7" and sending to Costco or Walmart to be honest. I've never really been given an issue in the past. It's a nice, simple, inexpensive project no doubt. Long ago a user on here posted about these remote controls that people use for Christmas lights. I r...

As of late a few small projects have been populating my time. It's quite funny the amount of satisfaction I get from checking this small projects off the list. It could be as simple as change a BIOS setting on one of my MAME PC's...it's just good to get it done. One of the projects was something I s...

RGB to VGA adapters with light gun games - Help/Advice

Question for any monitor guru's on here. I have a buddy of mine with 3 cabinets....2 Big Buck Hunter, 1 Golden Tee. All of which have CRT monitors that are pooched! These were purchased back in the good ol' Starburst auction days. Sadly here in Toronto (or East of Toronto in the Durham region) repla...

Re: Foosball Refurbish

Thanks ! These little small tweaks/modifications have made a big difference in my honest opinion. I think ANYTHING is cooler with lights ! Still need to get the replacement field ordered and installed. Wanna ask the wife if she thinks I should go with the current replacement I have. I think when it'...

Re: PLaystation Classic

I don't wanna talk about things you can't talk to on the forum. But I've seen some cool videos of people displaying this PSClassic hack. So apparently when you take out the USB drive the unit is stock. No real modification, hack, or alteration required. Not to mention some of these USB images (for l...

Re: Transformers G1 @ walmart

My buddy tells me Soundwave is the next one in the line to come out!
Anyway for anyone interested, Hot Rod is clearing out at Walmart.ca for $19.
I just ordered two !
Starscream isn't available online, my buddy saw him in store this week, but he was full pop!
I'll need to keep my eyes open !
