Retro Car & Pop Culture Show - Aug 25th Milton

Posting here for two reasons: 1) Figured some of you guys might be interested in attending 2) The organizers are looking to try and get some arcade games set up at t...

Re: Robbie Lakeman vs Wes Copeland at Arcade MTL

LOL. I was at funspot this weekend with a buddy of mine. On Friday he introduced me to some guy named Robbie. This Robbie guy wasn't sticking around long as he was on his way to Montreal. Turns out it was Robbie Lakeman. On a side note, Funspot is great, but there was a snowstorm in the area so they...

I used to play that game for hours on end - couldnt imagine having to chuck quarters into it lol.

The Tecmo Bowl arcade game is huge but also plays like a bowl of wet dogshit. The NES version is far superior.

Re: What arcade games remind you the most of your childhood?

Hey, does anyone remember Family Kart Ways in Whitby in the 90's? I spent sooo much time there. Had a sweet 2 level arcade. That's where I fell in love with Super Sprint (grail). Even Spaltterhouse (not a grail) was awesome. Too bad they plowed it for homes now i think...Also, remember SPANKY'S arc...

I've only seen one 720 pop up for sale in Southern Ontario in the past 8 or so years. And I was lucky enough to nab it.

FT: NES, Super NES, PS2, FCUltra2

LF: 60-1 cocktail

A buddy of mine at work is finishing off his basement and is looking for a cocktail table. I convinced him that a 60-1 is probably the best bet for a very occasional gamer. He's looking for one in nice shape. So PM me if you have anything available. Shoot me a pic and a price ideally. Thanks. panger...

For any bar to survive, you have to attract the ladies as well. So almost need to have a focus on it being a retro 80's/90's bar including the music and whats on the TV (One really nice arcade bar I went to in Chicago had Saved by the Bell episodes on the TV). Make the arcade games part of the retro...
