Blu-ray as a game console? Doom?

in my seemingly never ending FMV DVD hunt i have come across the Blu-ray Demoscene.
Here is a link to some of the software you can play on a blu-ray. Doom is one of the titles.

Back To Basic - Basic software

Just curious if anyone has any favorite basic games?
I think I am going to try a few of these creepy basic computer games

This topic is brought to you by stumbling across this book on how to convert basic programs to other machines

Demo Scene

So this may be a bit out of left field for this group. But I am curious if anyone in the community knows anything about the Demo Scene? Is there a site that releases new demo's for our favorite classic computers and consoles? Heck even places for new titles for our aging systems. I of late have been...

FMV on odd formats?

So I have recently started down a rabbit hole of DVD games for DVD players... Some are hard as hell to find like Dracula Unleashed. But I have a question for the hive mind regarding VCD's. Is there any FMV or Interactive games on VCD? This question stems from stumbling on other interactive media fro...

Game Wave repair help.

I was using my game wave today to test some DVD's and next moment I try using it the screen is blank. I reflowed the Powerboard PCB worried there was a break or something like a cold break happened seeing as there was no visible issues. Still no luck. I probed out the power pins and found a possible...

The unitrex and the introdex function very similar.

Re: Hunting @ Value Village

I rather go to independent Thrift shops. I always had better luck at those then Good Will or Value Village. Some others I know swear by going to locations near rich areas to get their stuff. If you can manage it see if you can flag down the local junk collector as he/she drives around and strike up ...

Re: Pong Chip help on old machine. How to test?

No switch box used. I know I messed up on the first testing plugging it into a composite video input. Then realized I goofed at attached it to RF of a TV and got image on the second one working. The first one I know I hooked it up wrong and when I hooked it up correctly I did not get image. Since I ...

Pong Chip help on old machine. How to test?

Hello, I have 2 Unitrex desk top home pong units. They have practice, Hockey, Tennis, Squash as the 4 games built into them. I had a thread quite a few years ago about a Cocktable table console version of these units by the same manufactures with a different issue. Anyways I am getting side tracked....

This one is in Windsor. The fellow told me they do these once a month. I'd check "computers for kids" in your area to see if they have a similar arrangement. They seem to be a Canada wide charity but each independently operated. Thanks for the info, is there a link or anything for the one...
