It does use the SNES AC Adapter but there is a module that you need to plug it into the Virtual Boy.

Looking for a good condition Virtual Boy Head to replace my glitchy one. Won't need mine afterwards if anyone wants it for parts.

P.S. If anyone has a Virtual Boy AC Power Adapter that would be great too.
