Just tried to boot up my XEGS after many years, and it appears to be DOA. It powers on, but doesn't load BASIC, Missile Command or any carts. From what I read online its a simple fix by cleaning the pot. as long as you're not popping the connection to the glass you should be fine. My collecting style has always been to buy big lots to keep prices as low as possible, and that unfortuantely means taking the bad with the good. Now by bad, I don't necessarily mean junk.
