I suggest you stick to Hakko. The cheap China stuff just can't cut it with removing solder around big caps that are soldered down to huge copper grounds. I probably removed close to 50,000 solder points with my Hakko (32 per 1 EPROM, 2 EPROMs per NES cart, 25-30 carts per evening .. for last 5+ year...

bump. still doing all retro console rgb, hdmi mods and restores.

Rick's chassis are top notch. They're a great option if you got a 29" dual sync or one of those Toshiba trisync monitors that have no schematics and can't be fixed (eg inside new net city!). Amazing tubes, unserviceable chassis.

I have a gameboy DMG here which I use as my "parts" system to repair customers' DMG consoles.
