Re: Moonwalker sound & graphics glitch

You might be able to get it from a junk CPSII or a earlier MVS single slot boards boards. Good to know! I have a junk CPS1... I'll take a look at that, otherwise I have fond a source for parts at http://buyicnow.com , but have never ordered from there. Comes recommended by trusty folks though.

Thanks for your thoughts. I did the built-in diagnostic test - you can see the results here (click the right arrow to see the ROM/RAM check result:

It does include a ROM check, but not sure if it's checking all the roms.

Moonwalker sound & graphics glitch

Hey gang, I have a desuicided Michael Jackson’s Moonwalker PCB here that I bought as non-working, and am making the attempt to fix this bad-boy myself. There are three separate issues: (1) Missing foreground sprites (bad IC-17 - Sony CXK5814 chip) (2) PCM audio from the rebranded Ricoh RF5C68 smt ch...

Re: Cult of Mac

Downloaded. Looks like a fun read! Will probably share it with my Dad as well. How long did it take you to pen this? It took me 2 days (basically the weekend). However, writing is easy for me (I've written 24 published academic textbooks that are used in colleges and universities worldwide). How ma...

Re: PLaystation Classic

What's the point of hacking this to play more games with poor emulation quality? If you want bad emulation, just get a Raspi.

Re: Capcom Mini Cute

Mini's are certainly cute, but playing on them is kinda not so great unless you are a kid or super tiny. The CP is low like on a candy cab, but it's small and cramped for 2 players. Maybe consider getting a single player CP, and tating the monitor and having it dedicated for shooters! Post pics when...

Hello Yaton. Nice to see you here. I have not dealt with you in the past, but have heard of you. Any chance at locating a SEGA Aero table or Neo Geo candy cabinets?

Re: Vewlix clone to Vancouver (costs & procedures)

Looks like you have done a lot of good research. Glad to see you covering your backside with some knowledge. That said, and having never ordered a viewlix from China, I would personally feel safer ordering a viewlix from a North American based company that has a verifiable track-record of delivering...
