FS: Gutted OG star wars upright mame cabinet
I bought this originally intending to do a swappable control style mame cabinet. I highly doubt it is restorable to an original star wars since there is no original plastic shroud, control panel or yoke or vector monitor. The left side is original art in pretty good shape. The right side is a one pi...

Re: Looking for a cab for mame
I have a gutted star wars cabinet that I would let go for $150. The left side is original art in decent shape and the right side is a full vinyl replacement (which is why I would want $150 for a gutted cab). The other thing is the front panel opens since I had intended to make this a swappable setup...

Turn your spinner into a steering wheel
I have a ultimarc spinner on my next mame control panel with an arkanoid knob--I thought it would be fun to have a steering wheel I could just press on and pull off when not in use. Thanks to thingiverse, I came up with this: https://i.postimg.cc/NF1q35Bf/20180927_062850.jpg The wheel is 135mm in di...

Re: WTB: 138-in-1 Classic Horizontal
Without all the demands going around, I can tell you that the raspberry pi 3 I have is awesome and I will never go back to a XXin1 and may never go into a mame pc setup again either--so small, easy and cheap!

Re: Anyone have/use a HD Antenna?
The only sports you'll get is whatever is broadcast over the air--so no TSN, sportsnet etc. as those are all cable shows. I think you'll be disappointed with a small antenna in kitchener.

Re: Anyone have/use a HD Antenna?
I have and use a big 8 bay unit and got a ton of HD channels out of the states and toronto. Rule of thumb though--bigger the antenna the farther away it can receive. I think you might be disappointed with those teeny weeny ones. I live in Burlington and can get all the major US stations as well as t...

Anyone have an IPAC/2 for sale/trade?
Just looking for some for a project--thought I would check the used market first before ordering--what do you have and what do you want for it?

Re: recommendations for waiting room arcade
It sounds like you are after a 60 in 1 setup--basically turn it on and away it goes. While I have nothing against them, the gamelist is too short for my taste. But for people who are otherwise bored I think it would be a good solution. If you are paying more than $1,000-$1,200 for a 60-in-1 setup, y...

Anyone looking for a pedestal project?
I was going to cut a new top for it but have 3 other projects in front of it so I don't want it sitting around anymore. https://www.kijiji.ca/v-hobbies-craft/oakville-halton-region/unfinished-pedestal-mame-arcade-project/1370014830?utm_source=Gmail&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=socialbutton...

Star wars pinball repair log
Posted here for posterity: Sympton : dead DMD (to start with) Solution: power supply board was missing the 68V. after some digging many of the fuse holders had cracked and likely sent all sorts of wacky voltages to the power supply board. So I eventually found (after umpteen trips to sayal) BR1 was ...
