Re: Anyone have/use a HD Antenna?

I have one of those "Factory Direct" specials that hang on the wall (about 10" x 10") that I use when the weather is bad and the satellite goes down. Living in Cambridge (Galt), all I get is Global, CTV (13), TVO and CHCH. I can't get any Toronto stations. However, the picture an...

Another Video Game Documentary

I'm a sucker for documentaries... especially video game docs...
Came across this one the other day... not too bad.
(I'm disappointed that Syd Bolton isn't in it...)

Re: So... who got a NES Mini today?

Wow... stopped by EB Games in Brantford today and they had one left.... it was hidden behind the counter and not visible. I had to ask the guy about it since they showed it in stock online. He upsold me to a cable extender too. Dammit. EB Games website shows a few stores in Ontario still have some s...

So... who got a NES Mini today?

Well... I guess Nintendo released another batch of NES Minis today. Good luck on getting one... sent the missus into Costco this morning while I was getting gas at about 11:30am and they just laughed at her. Thanks for Patrick for posting the Costco online link this morning... (By noon, it was taken...

Re: Summer Projects....of the coin-op nature

I really need to get working on my Atari Race Drivin' that went into a DSP error a few years back and then got shoved into the corner of the garage. I have a few spare boards to try swapping out to see if I can isolate the problem. I miss that game... plus my daughter wants to learn how to drive a s...

I'm getting older.
I need something bigger that I don't need my glasses on to play.

Old School Gamer Magazine - Canadian Subscription?

I've always wanted a Canadian subscription for Old School Gamer Magazine. (I want a physical copy... I like to read in the only room in the house where I can get some privacy...) In the past, I wanted to subscribe but they only offered mail subscriptions to the US. (The website used to say "int...

Re: The Pinball Doctors: The Last Arcade Technicians in NYC

Coils are probably OK to use a soldering gun... but smaller items should use a soldering iron/pen due to smaller areas/finer detail and you don't want to overheat components.

Cool video!
Thanks for posting!
However, It drove me nuts that the one guy was using a soldering gun for repairs. :?
