I believe it is only the monitor that is not working. The rest of the cabinet is complete.

If he was to fix the monitor, what could the cost be? I know it is not a fair question without seeing it first but is there a common failure with these sets?

Updated year. It is a 2004 and not a 2005 if that makes a difference to anyone. I believe it is a tournament edition. It has an additional LED bar fixed to the top. Has very little use (around 100 plays).
