Not mine, just saw the ad. The cabinet looks beautiful like it was restored. The game is similar to Arkanoid. They are asking $425

FS: empty upright cabinet (capcom blue?)
Not mine, just saw the ad. Looks like a capcom big blue but it's painted all black. Asking 220 (way too much IMO) but it's got a control panel, ipac, looks like coin doors too. In Mississauga. "price flexible!"

Re: FS: rough cocktail cabinet hack in Oshawa
I was going to ask how you know but the underside picture shows the red squares that look like the undersides of WICO Perfect 360 sticks. Good eye! Now someone rescue them

FS: rough cocktail cabinet hack in Oshawa
Not mine, just saw the ad. Really rough shape, looks like someone used a coffee table for the top, no legs. But there's a coin door, Midway maybe? Monitor (I thought it was unfocused but i think it's the picture quality), a game PCB, can't tell what the game is ("planes"), sticks and butto...

FS: Atari System 1 cabinet in Toronto $400
Not mine, just saw the ad. Has a working unknown bowling game in it. Price seems steep but cabinet seems in good condition and has serial number on the back.

FS: Pac-Man Junior cabinet with 60-in-1 in Mississauga
Not mine, just saw the ad. Cabinet looks like maybe a repro? in good condition but it's got an LCD and 60-in-1 in it. Bezel, marquee, coin door look original? Not really worth the asking of $1300 probably... https://www.kijiji.ca/v-art-collectibles/mississauga-peel-region/pac-man-machine/1507253019

Not mine, just saw the ad. 'Not working'. Looks like there's an ashtray bolted to it. Remember those?

No, but I wouldn't mind a Star Wars.

FS: Coin-op junk featuring 'Granny & The Gators' in Vaughan, ON
Not mine, just saw the ad. The pics make it look like a building with neglected coin-op junk. But there appears to be a Granny & The Gators under a thick layer of dust. Also Sente's Gimme A Break, Un-Scramble, crane games, 70s stuff... Looks like a dirty mess though. Only for the brave? https://...

Re: Anyone on here know how to fix a Sega Dreamcast?
Assuming no one can help you: Before society fell apart i'd suggest hitting all the pawn shops like cash converters to replace the whole console. I'd often see a few of them marked cheap. There's a better option though -- buy an sdcard converter like GD-EMU for ISO images. You can buy the original f...

Re: Check Them Batteries!
I've ordered tabbed CR2032 batteries to replace in a couple NES cartridges with saves states. The originals still work but they're 30 years old at this point. Hopefully they'll arrive next weekend.

Re: arcade 1up machines almost here... price drop now $399 CAD
I mean, there's no cigarette burn marks on the control panel, no rat piss smell and no "Suzy sucks dick" carved into the sideart. This totally reduces the nostalgia value for sure.... For real authenticity you can light a cigarette and mark up the panel, carve whatever message you want on...

The 1Up arcades have become hugely popular. Maybe making a dedicated forum for them could attract new blood?

Re: CRT monitor repair needed
There are 3 monitors doing the same thing? That's very unlikely. 2 of these cabinets have 60-in-1's, those boards are probably too young to develop a display issue. I'd suggest adjusting some pots on the monitor pcbs but probably the reason you're asking for a pro to look at them is you don't know m...
