garage sale finds- June 12-13-14

Postby omnedon » Thu Jun 12, 2003 12:45 pm

I hit 4 sales and found three small
things.

1 set of Atari 2600 paddles 50cents
1 original Nintendo "sport bag" blue, with red handles, embossed with Mario and Luigi for $2

and..

Image

an Odyssey 300. man, is this BIG
and UGLY! I'll try to test it this afternoon. $1.50CDN

The problem with picking up Pong systems, is it's hard to stop. And Hard to turn down when so
cheap too. I don't want to have all the Pong clones! Ahhhh! I'd need to rent some self storage or something.

I am willing to trade to anyone nuts
enough to be a pong variant completist! :D

At first I
thought that the pong system was an art deco radio.

K.....watch out for those 3rd party memory cards though...espeically the Interact ones! They have a bad
tendency to lose games without notice and be glitchy as all hell. They're not reliable at ALL for the Saturn....only the official Sega ones are. I had an
Interact one and every time I removed it from the system it took 30 min to reseat it proerly so it would work again....doing it over and over, and then, half
the time, it would lose my saves too!
