NES ACTION SET BOXED - $400

Hello, I am selling a boxed NES Action Set. It contains original papers and several sealed items within the box. It also has the original zap gun but does not have the second control and mario duck hunt. You can easily get them from a vintage gaming store for 99 cents though. Because the control and Mario duck hunt isn't included, I will throw in four NES games. The games are Dr. Mario, Platoon, Top Gun and Iron Sword. Everything included has been tested and is working. I am selling it for $400 or best offer.

I like how this guy says you can easily buy a controller and Mario/Duck Hunt for $0.99 at a game store, yet apparently isn't willing to pay that much to complete an item he's asking $400 for.

LOL! I love how it says "ONLY ONE ON EBAY IN COMPLETE IN BOX, MINT CONDITION! ULTRA RARE!"

The part about "IN COMPLETE IN BOX" made me laugh. Incomplete… Heh heh!

The game is crap and over priced, R-Type is a much better side scrolling SHMUP, I would ever play Ordyne, Fantasy Zone, etc over it.

Everyone and their dog is trying to cash in on retro games, even Value village has a separate cabinet for old games now and a specific price list.

The best part is that for that price he will be sitting on it forever as turbografx collectors are few and far between and certainly don't have that kinda of cash to throw down on a single game. There's a ton of better things to buy with that kind of scratch.

Yeah, if there's any console where demand is limited and collectors spend less on games it's the Turbografx.....

I agree that the asking price is too high for it to sell but this is the rarest game on the console and it's complete in excellent condition. A complete copy did sell for over $7000.00 US just a few months ago at open auction so it's not horribly overpriced as a buy-it-now, especially as there's a best offer option.

This console really got nuts lately. Stuff I remember selling around $20-$60 a few years ago is now around $120-$150 now in the same condition. I really should have kept a lot of the spare games I had until now.

Ha, oh you tg16 noobs :P..Spend some time over on pcenginefx.com and you will see things differntly, prices keep going up on eBay because a lot of people are buying them at those prices.

I hate it... As playing the games are part of the fun, the way the prices are going only the rich instant collectors will have them ,but not to fear there is the Everdrive.

pS.. MC is more hyped up then it is rare. It is like an urban legend.. when people talk about it gets bigger and more expensive each time.
