Toilets in video games.
I came here to see if people on this site might know. Some people were discussing interactive toilets in video games, and we were trying to figure out which was the first game that let you interact with one.
Someone said Duke Nukem, another person said leisure suit larry.
Can anyone think of the earliest video game to let you do this?

That's a great discussion!
What year is Leisure Suit Larry? In 1985 Activision's "Little Computer People" had the main character go to the bathroom, but it was done by having him (or her?) go behind a door with a crescent moon on it.

Leisure suit larry was first published in 87. So that game you listed sounds interesting. CAn you find a screen shot of using the toilet? I've never heard of that game.
I'm even trying to think back to computer games I played as a kid in the mid 80s that might have had it. When was the original maniac mansion released?
this is definitely a fun topic to do some research on.

I only remember Duke Nukem at the time, you'd open bathroom stall door, hit your enter/action button and it would make the toilet flush.

No, because like I mentioned, he does his business behind a closed door. So it's not a direct interaction with a toilet.
Here's a video of the Apple IIe version of the game. Skip to 1:08:30. He goes to the bathroom after brushing his teeth:

Ya after seeing that I would say that doesn't count as there is no toilet shown.
Re: Toilets in video games.
I'm still looking into this.... Sort of. But I think were going with leisure suit larry....
Next topic is the first game to have character customization.

The original Rampage arcade game (1986) included toilets.
The monsters could eat them (but they would get sick from doing so).

Saw this on reddit and it was so fitting for this thread.

I was playing mass effect 2 with my second character and noticed you can flush the toilet in the captains cabin on the ship....
