The last time we were at Best Buy, my wife and I overheard a kid asking his dad if the Nintendo Switch could play 3DS games. The grey-bearded, 40-something dad replied, "The hardware isn't backwards compatible, but maybe at some point you'll be able to buy 3DS games in the eShop. Trouble is, there wouldn't be a way to copy your saved game over."

After they walked off, my wife looks at me in disbelief and says, "...my dad didn't know the difference between a console and a controller." It's amazing the difference a generation makes, I guess. :lol:

I think that does honestly say something about Nintendo's marketing over the years though. Kinda like Kleenex or Q-Tips

I'm afraid that if I did, I might lose a finger.... Or at the very least, it would come out smelling like an aged cheddar after sitting in the hot sun.
