Cool 3D printable retainer for the Pi Zero and the USB / HDMI ports. Anyone got a 3D printer?

I have access to one - I'll check to see how much it will cost me to print one or ten....

I'm thinking I might build a few of these, one for travel as it would be nice to have a portable system when I'm stuck in some crappy hotel while at a conference or training. Or just to bring to friends gatherings, the girls just sit in the kitchen and gossip, the guys run out of things to talk about and just gawk at our phones! LOL Other's probably as gifts.

You can pretty much get everything you need from Amazon.ca including the empty nes carts

Not buying one just yet, but I did notice the price of 3D extrusion printing is coming way down since I first saw the makerbot. Here's a desktop 3d printer kit, yes some assembly required, for $185 CAN plus shipping, which is way less than what I was expecting. Apparently an open source design.

Ever get a response? I'm also getting a quote from TechAlley in London.

There's a Retropie group on FB... Someone there sells the kits which include the bezel and the other needed cables to make it all fit into a case nicely. Even had option for cases I think... But Amazon sells cases too IIRC.

I think they were asking about $10usd per bezel.

As long as you're not gutting a working console to put a Pi inside... I never understood that.

I'm in that FB group, didn't see that kit however but thanks for the heads up. No actual NES components will be harmed! I ordered a replacement NES shell from Amazon which arrived a couple of days ago. :D

Jason's trying to hook me up to some affordable 3D printing for the pi and cable retainer. If no luck there's always hot glue.
