Oh well, at least I still have my original SNES at home... made it to the end of Home Alone, the video game yesterday through my tears.

About 2 weeks ago I was at Wal-Mart too and the Nintendo rep was there so of course I asked, she was very polite and said "No, but just keep trying!" but I could tell she was laughing at me on the inside lol

Stopped by the Walmart in Brantford on the way home from work... the lady in Electronics said that she has worked everyday for the last 20 days and hadn't seen any come in. Oh well.

I just grabbed one at the Walmart in Waterloo this morning. I didn't know you wanted one.

Were you in tears because you couldn't find a SNES mini or because you were playing Home Alone? I'd easily believe either of those scenarios.

Hey... what's with the hate on Home Alone on the SNES... it's about the only game I can actually beat! ;-)

Anyways, Merry Christmas everyone!

Very nice, you'd probably spend more than $7 in gas trying to track one down.

Haven't done it to the one I have, I've read it's pretty easy to do.

Ive been enjoying older games lately a lot more than new games of today.

While I do enjoy the new Doom, and currently The fracture But Whole and other new games I cant stand the new grindy same old same old loot box stuffed rehashed like Assassins creed Origins, Call of duty , Destiny 2.

I find myself going back and having much more fun playing through X-Wing, Heavy Metal FAKK 2, Rune,

Im just sick of the trend of games as a service which you can tell no love goes into the games and the only innovation comes from how they find new ways to monetize the game. Obviously there are still lots of exceptions with good modern games that still dont buy into this crap , but most people flock to these glorified mobile games today.

Long story short, the SNES classic and NES classic came at a good time

If anyone is interested, I found this on redflag deals.
https://forums.redflagdeals.com/amazon- ... d-2165187/

It's a euro Snes classic, with the japanese style and color. It equals about 121 CAD. I dunno if the deal is still good or what, I came across it yesterday. I personally have a retropi, but thought I'd pass this along for people looking.

I went ahead and added some more games to my SNES classic. There are probably a ton i could add, but i just put on a few old faves so far. Turtles in time, death and return of superman, Maximum carnage and separation anxiety, Xmen mutant apocalypse and a couple others.
