Speaking of Value Village...

Postby RayB » Fri Mar 09, 2018 10:05 am

I pretty much gave up on Value Village as a source for collecting (and then gave up on collecting entirely) but... was ecstatic to spot these in a plastic bag mixed in with a couple crappy plastic travel games:

Not bad!

G&W are super cool. I had a few as a kid.
I want more games...

I find VV best when you have several things you can look for, I go for video games, board games, retro puzzles, and other nostalgic junk. If you go in hoping to find something very specific you're often disappointed, but if you can browse the entire store and have an eye for things of value you can often find some great deals. Of course there are other times you curse the entire company for having the gull to charge outrageous prices for shit they got for free and claim they're a non-profit helping the local community...every day is different!

Thats why i regularly check in to the 3 thrift stores near me. Most times you find nothing, but every once in a while you get something good.

My last good one was the crystal Xbox .
