Toys R' Us Going out of Business Sales start tomorrow in U.S

Postby CanadianRyGuy » Wed Mar 21, 2018 1:59 pm

Sad to see my favorite childhood store going out of business, but it will be interesting to see what unique finds pop up from the dark corners of Toys R' Us back rooms across the states. Misplaced cases of vintage toys, old video game display cases/systems, etc.

Not that I want to see them close in Canada, but I'd be there in line for the store sales. Wouldn't mind grabbing something with Geoffrey on it or something, a bit of nostalgia for old times sake.

I glad TRU won't be shutting its doors in Canada. I really want to take my son there when he's a bit older and is interested in things like action figures and lego.
I worked at a TRU for nearly five years, it was a great part time job. Got lot's of game displays and deals. Never was lucky enough to find any old stock, unfortunately most of that stuff gets sent back or distroyed.
Their video game section used to be great. Rzone was pretty much an EB games inside TRU at one time. Now it's pretty crappy.
