Can't speak about that version but I had the previous one. The graphics were ok but the sound was off on some games.

Sega is releasing a genesis mini soon so you might want to wait for that.

I bought one of these.. helps scratch that itch for some sega classics, but that count of 85 games is misleading, theres literally a pile of completely junk, noones ever seen before games on it

I ended up buying one. I dont need one, I have a retron 5 but i think the unit is neat. Yes it does have some trash games on there, but it has a lot of sonic games, shinobi, mortal kombat, and a bunch of others that I have never played. I tried out some alex kidd last night and i can see myself playing those games quite a bit.

Its a nice addition to the SNES and NES classics. I just need to get a wired controller
I also love that you can play carts in it, though i already play carts in the retron 5.

I also had the older version, 80 games I think, non HD.
I'm not a purist, and I only game every now and again. I just like to collect stuff.
To me for the $40 I paid @ Bed Bath and Beyond I won't complain.
It has some fun titles and looks cool on the shelf, the price point wasn't so steep that it would hinder any official Sega release.
