I created an Instagram page to showcase my hunt for sneaker deals...... @sneakerfind.to is me !
I'll use the page to show my collection, where I got them, how much I paid, etc.
I'll also post about recent finds and hunts. I hope the page will be of some use or interest to people.
Some of the artwork I do I'll also post on the page, I posted one image I did with Dee Brown from the "no look" dunk he did.

Nice shoes Mike, love though vintage pumps.

I have always been into owning nice sneakers. I recently got a nice pair of high top black demin Nikes.

I'd say ol' faithful though are my Adidas Stan Smith in white and green.

Sneakers really have become a passion for me....not yet an obsession!
I don't have the means or time to become truly obsessed.
I've sort of evolved in the way I collect them.
When I was single, a few bucks to spare I'd buy whatever I wanted.
Back then things were not as crazy as they are now, or if that were the
case I was unaware. I don't think reselling was as huge.
As I got more on my plate, kids, house, etc I would buy cheaper sneakers
just because I liked the color. Had a Yankees hat, now I need a shoe with navy blue.
Didn't matter what the shoe was, if it came in at $100 or less and had the required
color I'd get it. Now I have patience....if it does not have a Jumpman on the back
it will go on sale..........it will clear out. So now I try to get only "signature"
shoes. I buy less, but buy better shoes. Love almost any Air Trainer SC (Bo Jackson) and
any Air Tech Challenge (Andre Agassi).

Thought I would try my hand at social media. Wanted to try Instagram to showcase my travels and finds.
Thought it would be something kinda cool, possibly take off..................... who knows ! LOL

To bump and old thread.....my desire for sneakers has not left me.
I noticed (learned about myself) I'm all about nostalgia.
Kicks I had when I was a kid.........love em !
Toys I had as a kid.......... love em! All be it I don't really seek them out to own again.
Cologne from my school days........I've become such a sucker for colognes I used to wear back in the day.
My collection has probably grown to 50 bottles....it's bad !

I think I referenced it in this thread prior, anyone familiar with the giant Nike/Jordan shoe boxes that were the rage last summer(ish) ?

I tried to get one, but they were quite costly. My buddy had started to build one, but just did not have the time to complete it.
I think I'm going to try my hand (and ask my father in law) if this could be a summer project.
I really want one.

Other than that................who's got some cool kicks as of late ?
