Need a projector (pocket or regular) to borrow/purchase

Looking for a cheap or to borrow, projector that I can hook up to my laptop, wife wants to do some Halloween projection this year. Was thinking of just buying a Pico projector, but unsure how bright they are etc. (and would have to spend $200-$300 to find that out)

Old style projector might just do the trick. Anyone have any type of projector kicking around and gathering dust? Thanks!
