I remember as a kid the western fair here in town being huge, even as a young teen it was a decent size, but lately year after year it seems to get smaller and smaller. Such a sad sight to see. I go every year and i always have a blast. Carnival games, winning animals, I'm a pro at the beer bottle/fishing rod game. I just love the lights and sounds at night. I try and hit the cne whenever I can but it's a long drive home so it's not always easy. Really wish they could make a comeback. So many memories and good times at the fair.

I actually remember the it being big there too.
The best thing about the Western Fair now isn't the fair, but the Halloween Haunted House.
I think the CNE is really the only big fair around nowadays. And even that isn't the greatest today compared to the 80s.
