Shot in the dark here.
A few weeks about, February 25th to be exact the back element in my over went.
I replaced it the following day and all was fine.
Used the oven last night, no issues. This morning go to put in my turkey for Easter family dinner.
NADDA! the element would not work.
Took the element back to the parts store who checked it and said it was fine.
I removed the old quick connects, added new quick connects and even did a little solder to ensure a good connection.
The element doesn't come on. I took a look around back looking for any sign of damaged wiring, corrosion, burning, but again nothing.
The oven is about 9 years old, I imagine not worth paying to get repaired.
Thought I would ask as many of you guys may have experience with something like this, or just an all around better tech sense than myself.

Thank you

Does it have manual controls (turn knob) or electronic buttons? If manual, the control (turn knob) could be bad. If electronic buttons, electronic board up top could be bad.

It sounds like it's been cooked.

It's electronic.
And it's allowing me to select back, even adjust the temperature and press "enter" to begin.
However the element then would not come on.

I'm watching some tutorial videos, trying to see if I can get an idea of what to look for.

Sounds like a relay went. Low voltage is being triggered but no high voltage output. Coyld be 100 things though including sensors control boards etc.

I'd start with checking your breakers (2) that feed your oven. You can trip one side and still have an appliance that appears to function.

I found a really good video on YouTube.
Kinda hit right on the head what the issue could be.
If its the main logic, its like $180-250 to replace.
Time to scrap it I think.

Today was 2 hectic with hosting Easter dinner. So I never got an opportunity to test all the voltages.
I'll try and do it tomorrow and see if I can isolate the issue.

Thanks all
