I bought the new Dandy Warhols CD today from HMV and had to return it because track 3 skips (2:49 mins into the song). We went through all 12 copies at the store and all of them had this problem :evil: It's a good CD hopefully the re-release will not have this problem. They were aware of this problem and the first shipment was recalled...they were also told that second batch was error free. :roll:

Ironically, the third song is one of the better ones.

They're on tour right now.. they were in Toronto a couple of weeks ago. :)

That's probably because it's not a CD. It's a Copy Controlled disc. They've all but banned them in the UK already, if you notice, not ONCE anywhere on the disc or packaging do they call it a "Compact Disc" or CD.

I absolutely hate EMI and everyone else who has jumped on the bandwagon.

Sorry to go on this rant, but I've had to resort to buying import UK editions of albums just to get a real disc. Also, they generally have added material to most albums.

Being that it's X-mas... I thought that I'd treat myself to a copy of the latest Dandy Warhols CD (Odditorium?)
So I walked into the closest HMV and was shocked to see the sticker price of $31.99 (and that didn't even include the KY!)
I thought that might have been a mistake but all of the copies were this price!
I admit, I haven't purchased a new CD in a while... but $32 bucks... give me a break!
Now I remember why I download music.

I'd recommend the new Supergrass CD too! It's really good!

I stopped by Futureshop... they had it for $15.99.... which is a more reasonable price.

I guess it will be a Dandy Warhol Christmas!
