Another for Tim'sWalnut Crunch (though the
Dutchies are also good).

Has anyone else noticed that they have gotten smaller in the last few years. The Walnut Crunch used to be like 20% larger.

I've
noticed!!!! :x Did you that Tim Horton Doughnuts come to each location 95% cooked? They only re-heat them in the locations. This doesn't concern me though,
the volume they must go through daily will ensure that they are fresh (right?)

Apple Cinammon's my fave.

I prefer Dunkin' Donuts' doughnuts to Tim's, but Dunkin's are more and more rare in Quebec (the Couche-Tard
convenience store chain recently bought the Quebec rights for Dunkin' so maybe we'll see a Dunkin' revival soon). Besides, I definitely prefer the coffee
at Tim's than at Dunkin's.

To give you an idea of the Tim Horton boom in Quebec: number of Tim's within walking distance of my apartment: 2 (both
opened in the past couple of years). Number of Dunkin' Donuts within walking distance: none whatsoever.

Now, I've gotta try out Krispy Kreme. They
just opened their first Montreal location. I've heard that their doughnuts are softer than Tim's.

I heard some where that crispy cream donuts have something like 5 times the fat of a regular
donut...but they DO taste good.

isn't that usually how it is with any kind of food?

have you guys ever tried their donut of the week at krispy kreme?
i
had it a while back and it was the most insane donut i've ever had the pleasure of eating. it was a custard filled donut, dipped in caramel, dusted with
sugar and sprinkled with giant chocolate chips. when i picked it up it felt like they put a brick in the bag!!! it was so heavy. not very good for you but it
was awesome.

I guess
thats why 60% of the U.S. public is either overweight or obese. I do believe there is a similar number for Canada.
