Anyone remember this arcade in Bala (Muskoka)? It's up for grabs after over 50 years:

$229K is actually not bad, for the location in cottage country etc, and apparently has residence in behind it to live in. Would be an interesting place to own/run

I was there last year and played some games. The pins are in really bad shape and need to shopped out big time. the games are ok but not excellent.

I would put a value of everything inside at 25k max. Most hunters would probably offer 17 max.

I checked out the real estate in the back and there is no backyard. floating deck on the water. There is a large multiple rental unit to the right with people always outside hanging out. If you are looking for privacy or no noise, that location is not the place.

Pizza shop was shut down to the left. I would say if you bought it, serve street meat to the Bar crowd on weekend nights and that's your money.

Winter time shut down and go home.

Ditto here - I was there two summers ago to see a performance at The Kee to Bala - the place is very long (goes all the way back to the water), and the building is somewhat run down and old (which is typical for such an old building in Muskoka). The whole area was pretty dead when I was there mid-summer, but the area is very charming.

Interesting review of our place. It is old but classic. Anyone considering buying it would have to be much more of a people person vs one objecting to having a shared yard for the past 50 years with families.
The KEE concerts are great if you like the band.
In any case it is a Labour of Love only for special folk
