Anyone know of a local source for led replacement bulbs for T-3 1/4 wedge base. The current bulbs are GE259 6.3v, would the 5v from the arcade power supply run an led bright enough?
Could order online but rather just drive over and pick some up if possible instead of waiting paying for shipping etc.

I purchase Led pinball bulbs for my pins and that Kijiji price is expensive.
Starburst / playdium carries the right bulbs for coin doors. Very much a staple item. I think a box of 12 will be under 5 bucks but call their parts department before you drive there. They might stil be under holiday hours not sure.

DOH! I was in the area last week to visit a friend, did stop by the store ,played some pinball, bought some T molding, wasn't even thinking about the bulbs. Probably won't do the 3 hour round trip for just a few led's, but good to know for the next order/ trip to TO. Think I'll call a few auto parts places and see what I can come up with.

Not sure if the bulb is too large, but they should work for you. Looking for automotive parts over any "specialized" parts is always way cheaper.

6.3v or 12v? I remembered after posting this thread that I bought a bag of 12v led's to change all the bulbs in my trailer, could just use some left overs if they fit the socket, then just rewire to use the 12v source from the arcade power supply. Now just got to find the bag of led's in my messy garage!
Probably got another coin door for you to work on as well.
