My new game room

Postby ken_cinder » Sun Jun 25, 2017 8:58 pm

As of about an hour ago, my house here is officially SOLD and thus we also firmed up on our house in New Brunswick as a result.

The jewel in my purchase is my nice 2900 square foot shop...I wonder how many games I can fit in here.

Actually the game room will be in the back portion(Red area where the bike and picnic table are in the pic)...well my "Man Cave", as the house is now off limits to all my toys as my wife's agreement with me on choosing this place. Works for me!

And some pics of the house and rest of the shop area.

That's massive. Good luck with the move. Where in NB are you moving to? I'm in Moncton.

Just outside of Richibucto, it is massive...my wife was trying to convince me to look at houses that were 4500+ square feet. The house is around 1800, on 1.1 acres...the shop dwarfs it.

If that day ever comes...you will still be first in line, but that day will probably never come as I won't have a mortgage in 2 months, more money for pins!

Awesome shop, congrats. Looks like you can park an 18 wheeler in there! As soon as I laid eyes on that shop, I'd be like "SOLD" don't even need to see the rest of the house.

Nice. The houses are nice and cheap down here but pickings are tough for arcade and pinball around her generally.

Yeah I had a look and I think I saw like ONE pin for sale within 100km of Moncton at the time lol

Shipping or road trips, I've driven 1800km round trip for a game before, will do again if need be.

You're also going to notice that the prices pinball machines and arcade games are also a lot higher down here lol

A hoist was on my mind...but an 8x4 foot CNC table is top of the list, I've worked on cars since I was little thanks to my parents being poor...I haven't done any auto work since I bought my SUV in 2012 though, and I don't care one bit to even know where it's oil dipstick is(ie; I'm sick and f**king tired of maintaining vehicles).

Some classic restoration work could change my mind on that though...just no chance in hell of my daily drivers ever seeing me put a wrench near them again.
