Seriously, looks like med res monitors are going the same route as Amplifone's and 6100's.

For what it is worth, a buddy of mine and I did a tube-swap on a Wells Gardner med res in a Narc a couple years ago. We just used a standard TV tube, and swapped the yoke. It took a while to converge, but once properly adjusted neither of us could tell a difference - it looked great. Certainly better than the original burned-out and dim tube."
you have the old monitor ? Put the med rez yoke on a standard tube

The tube has no bearing on whether it is standard or medium res. The difference is the yoke and how it is wound. I've done several repairs of medium-res chassis using a standard-res tube and just swapping the med-res yoke onto it.
As long as both tubes have the same neck pinout (CR-23 for the tube you mentioned - same as a G07, 4900, etc), you can use it as a tube swap if you use the original med-res yoke..."

Re: WTB: 19” med res burn free monitor
WG 19" tri-synch LCD, slides right in, takes the inputs from your PCB directly... never worry about the monitor again
