the other one looks to be a converter from some console ish to the monitor, that chip is a sync splitter..

The first and second pic, possibly could be for a Dreamcast to VGA?
There is a sync stripper chip there, and unless I'm totally mistaken that kinda looks like a Dreamcast AV out connector.
Could have someone worked on a VGA adapter for the Dreamcast, maybe?

thanks for all the replys everyone. Yes one of my cabs I was using a Dreamcast to power it. so i think that would be right! forgot about that! man time flies.
