Wall-mounted Fold-up cabinet.

Hi guys, I was wondering if anyone has come across plans for a wall-mounted fold-up cabinet? I did a Google search and the best I get is a photo of someone that built one where the controls fold up when it's in use. Here's a photo of what I found:

Does anyone have or know where I can get blueprints for something like that?

I'm looking to buy the Rampage Arcade 1up PCB and control deck as "replacement parts" for my "broken" cabinet, and bolt it to the wall like a picture frame. (no more boring family photos, am I right?)

So your using the original 1up control panel from Rampage? Does that mean you would like to stay with the same upper cabinet style?

I could probably draw you something, I would need some dimensions from the control panel or a design idea you were shooting for.

I want it as streamlined as possible.
I was thinking either using the 4 mounting holes with some home depot brackets and just have the monitor "floating" off the wall and somehow rig up the control panel to some sort of low profile folding mechanism. Basically like a picture frame with the control panel either strapped in to a box or bolted to the mechanism itself (bye-bye warranty).

Another thought was make a picture frame type setup with 1x4 wood panels, and router a groove to slide the monitor in and then figure out how to attach the folding mechanism and control panel.

This sounds like a project you need to mock up out of cardboard and build on site piece by piece.

Yeah, mock it up out of cardboard or foamcore before you start cutting plywood. Also get everything working (hardware & software) before cutting plywood. Match your control panel to the games you actually play. I'd also worry about the structural stability of a hinged control panel - at some point someone is going to lean on it.

Ok, compatability shouldnt be a problem, ill be using ARCADE 1UP parts, all i want to do is mount it like a painting/picture frame.

here are some parts i think will do the job.

Ok, so here is the mock-up:

I figure i can use the existing holes in the monitor/bezel to affix the TV wall mount.

Then bolt the folding brackets to the wall, and then mount the control deck to the folding bracket arms (i feel like i may need to drill new holes in to the arms to accomodate the exisiting Control deck holes as the seem more narrow and in different locations).

Lastly; possibly get some sort of cable cover for the ribbon cable leading from the monitor to control deck.

Ok, so here are my rough ideas on how to get this thing mounted, I have a feeling that the gap between the monitor and Controls may be MASSIVE, so i devised an alternate control deck plan at the bottom that *MAY* reduce the gap to about an inch.

Ultimately i would like to make it look like the second image.... if/when i get more of the Arcade 1up Cabinets/Monitors.

It's hard to gauge the thicknesses and sizes of everything since i cant seem to find actual specs of the stuff anywhere in the internet.
