I have three G05805 13” vector monitors that need repair.
Is there someone in or near Toronto that I can take these to?
Thanks!

Re: Ice Cold Beer or Zeak's Peak
There's one at Tilt Arcade Bar.
It's free to play but there's a cover to get in.
Love that machine!

Re: Arcades Today... are there any?
In Toronto, already mentioned Tilt is great if you go at a decent time, it gets packed at night, they also have skee ball and a coupe of classic console stations. Get Well is another bar with about 8 or so machines, their sister bar The Greater Good has a handful as well as skee ball. Cabin Fever, J...

Re: Never get rid of your first cab
For my 1st, I was looking for a pin (thought having a single pin would be enough) but found an Asteroids caberet and a Space Invaders for a good deal, both with minor issues. I got the bug and gradually picked up 12 cabs (in a 2 bedroom apt.) over the course of a year. Tinkered around on them, learn...

New arcarde bar
A new place just opened called Tilt on Brunswick at Bloor. 20+ games and pinball machines, skeeball, etc. All on free play. 5 bucks to get in on weekends but well worth a look.

Re: Coder to produce simple game?
Thanks for the tip.
Basically, I'm looking to create a real life version of one of the Simpsons arcade games from the show.
Triangle Wars, Escape From Grandmas House, Unipede or similar.

Coder to produce simple game?
Hi all, I'm looking into making a custom cabinet with a simple 8-bit style game and I'm trying to find out what it would take to program. How much time or money would it take to have a simple game like Asteroids or similar created? Would anyone here be interested or know someone who would work on a ...

Re: Heading to Toronto this weekend any good place to play some pins or vids
Here's the most up to date pinball map for Toronto: https://www.google.com/maps/d/viewer?mid=1gsjvE3XqhL6Jo5-Nhr7KRlT0ugs&hl=en_US Get Well is the only real place that has multiple vids but pinball is taking over these parts. If you can head west, Cabin Fever has 6 machines and Junction City Mus...

I was there and played it, Galaga was awesome on that screen. Really cool to see in person.
Their whole booth was really well done. Huge Pacman carpet about 40' square or so.

Re: How do you bulletproof your games?
What about old fuses? Do you guys ever just replace fuses to be safe or are they safe to leave in? I'm thinking if they've been working for years, do they ever fail to blow when they should?

Great tips!
I haven't replaced a power supply yet. I should put that on my "to learn" list.
