Events in the Maritimes?

There seem to be frequent, or at least regular, gaming shows, sales, and other events in Southern Ontario. What about elsewhere in the country?

I spent about 23 years in Alberta, and in all of that time there was only one public video game-related event that I was aware of -- an arcade game show in Calgary some years ago. It was fun, but it was also a one-off.

I have recently relocated to Fredericton, New Brunswick. Are there any video game-related happenings held anywhere in the Maritimes? Is there a better place for me to ask the question?
