FS: Raspberry Pi 3 retro system

Postby darryldale » Sat Feb 03, 2018 10:44 am

Picked this up a while back on a whim and not a big fan.

Bought it simply because I can't get my cab into the basement of my new place and thought it would give me my gaming fix.

Switching to a pedestal/tankstick/hyperspin build.

It's a raspberry pi3 with two wireless controllers.

$150

Curious why you didn't like it, as I am currently considering one of these.

Hmm--I have a full pedestal (woodworking only--no controls)--any interest in doing a trade with cash or something? I can send pics of the setup if you are.

Thanks but I am now system complete.

It is definitely not a "standard" pedestal but gets the job done and keeps the better half happy.

I'll post some pics later tonight.

OK, but no laughing....

It keeps the better half happy and let's the kids and I get our classic gaming fix.

All in for the following:

Ikea cabinet - $100
Off lease micro pc (i5 with 8gb ram) - $125
Tankstick - $125
32" TV - $150

Total: $500

Here are the pics:

Nope, still have it.

You can see it sitting in the cabinet in one of the photos I posted.

I'm interested in it....saves me from having to set one up. I assume it has bluetooth and the usb connections for wired controllers?
