Tablet Repair

Postby mike boss » Sun Apr 21, 2019 12:13 pm

Anybody know of a decent place in the GTA (perhaps Scarborough or Durham ideal) for tablet repair ?

I have an ASUS Transformer Book T100, my daughter used it for 1 afternoon and smashed the screen.
Actually specifically I believe the screen is OK, but its the thing on top of the screen that registers the touch that is cracked.

I picked up the replacement part from Ebay, but I need to get it serviced. I was told try Asus in Markham, however I don't think they'd use this 3rd party part.

My biggest concern is I seen the repair done online, and it appears that when it was done they might have had some dust, or something on the screen. It was like the screen was registering a touch the entire time, so I'd like some sort of warranty. (Not that I could not test it upon pick up).

Thanks all

Do it yourself, super easy. I've done dozens of these and they're all about the same difficulty, easy. Doesn't matter if it's an apple product or whatever, aliexpress for parts and 20 minutes later it's fixed.

Look on youtube as I'm sure your model is on there and take your time.
