I don't know how I feel about these machines. I mean, there's no cigarette burn marks on the control panel, no rat piss smell and no "Suzy sucks dick" carved into the sideart. This totally reduces the nostalgia value for sure....

For real authenticity you can light a cigarette and mark up the panel, carve whatever message you want on the sides, put in colour mis-matched buttons... As for the rat piss, you can piss in the cabinet yourself -- I dare anyone to tell the difference between human and rat urine! Now if i could just find a way to simulate burn-in of a different game on the LCD, or that slow wave of the image in the corner that happens when the CRT needs new caps...

Are these things that popular? I played the TMNT version at Canada Computers. I mean it was fun at the store and a heck of a lot easier than putting a mame together but I think I have been spoiled by having a mame machine for so many years.

My brother has the PacMan and Street Fighter II.
Even having my own MAME cabinets at home I gotta say I like these.
Not everyone is going take the time to do a MAME machine.
I think these most certainly fill a void in the market.
What I don't understand is the recent price jump, from cabinets at $399 to $500/600.

I must confess I'm VERY interested in the virtual pinabll...........I'm interested to see what they retail for Canadian.
Final Fight
Bad Dudes vs DragonNinja
Punch-Out! Pi-Bartop
Nintendo DK 60-in-1(V)
Nintendo DK JR Mame(V)
Nintendo Popeye W/Pandoras Box 9
Nintendo Mario Bros Mame + 2 X Aim Trak
23" Touchscreen Juke
Fabi Foosball Table
Arcade1up Marvel Pinball

The price jump is mostly for the Light-up marquees and supposed added features of the new units, possibly for licensing as well. The 4 player cabinets have always been more expensive, probably to cover the cost of shipping due to the extra ~20lbs weight increase and adding the extra control sticks and buttons... yes i know they are cheap sticks and buttons, but A1Up does what they want.
